1. Our Foundational Principle: 100% Local-First

JUGAD (by YUVII) is built around a simple guarantee: Your computer input belongs to you and should never leave your local physical environment.

Jugad does not operate cloud relay servers, STUN/TURN intermediaries, or remote database services. All data transmitted between your Android phone and Windows laptop travels strictly across your physical local Wi-Fi router or Windows Mobile Hotspot adapter.

2. What Data Is Collected

We collect zero personal data, zero analytics, and zero telemetry. Specifically:

  • No Keystroke Logging: Characters and keys sent from your phone are injected live into the active Windows focused window and discarded from memory immediately. Neither the companion nor the mobile app ever logs your keystrokes to disk.
  • No Mouse or Cursor Tracking: Relative pointer coordinates are streamed in real time to the input synthesizer and are never recorded or stored.
  • No Clipboard Retention: Clipboard synchronization is executed on demand. Text retrieved or sent is passed directly to the operating system's native clipboard without remote storage.
  • No Telemetry or Crash Reports: Neither application phones home. There are no Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, or third-party monitoring SDKs embedded.

3. Local Data Storage on Your Devices

To enable convenient reconnection between your personal devices without requiring re-entering a 6-digit PIN on every launch:

  • The Windows companion records trusted device IDs, device names, and randomly generated cryptographic session tokens locally in trusted_devices.json inside its application directory.
  • The Android app stores the generated session token and your laptop's IP address locally in its private application storage.

You can revoke access or purge these tokens at any time directly from the companion's Paired Devices tab.

4. Internet Access & Network Permissions

Jugad does not require internet connectivity to function. You can run both the Windows companion and Android application completely offline on a closed mobile hotspot or an air-gapped network.
