Can I use Jugad when traveling without an internet connection?
Yes. On Windows, turn on Mobile Hotspot (Windows Settings → Network → Mobile Hotspot) and connect your phone to it. Jugad operates 100% locally on the hotspot subnet (default IP: 192.168.137.1) without needing internet access or mobile data.
Does Jugad require Bluetooth or external cloud relays?
No. Jugad communicates directly over your local network using low-latency WebSockets. No Bluetooth pairing conflicts, no third-party servers, and zero cloud accounts required.
How does Jugad work with protected software like CodeTantra?
Standard remote control apps fail inside elevated applications due to Windows UIPI (User Interface Privilege Isolation). Jugad features a dual-mode engine: it automatically detects virtual HID minidrivers to send real hardware reports directly at the kernel level, giving you seamless mouse and keyboard control everywhere.
Is typing secure from network sniffing?
Yes. Communication occurs strictly on your local subnet. The desktop companion features a strict command whitelist, prohibits arbitrary terminal commands, and sandboxes file access.
How do I reconnect after restarting my laptop?
Simply start Jugad on your PC and open the app on your phone. If you paired previously, your cryptographically signed session token reconnects automatically in less than a second.
